The focus on "Quality Places" is where leadership from the urban/community design community is needed. The investment in innovation is ongoing and unstoppable. The recognition of the armature for both has yet to be recognized by a clear and coherent policy on infrastructure that is far more than roads and bridges. Finally, the vital human capital of the nation demands our complete and full attention. It takes just three and half minutes to "get it" and maybe a lifetime to get it across.
