Vehicle Reviews: Land

Published by

This page will run through a selection of transport objects for review and comment. Some will be selected for use at the lightwheels home base @ the Meadows, others for the upstate road and offroad network…  As comments develop they will be moved to a separate “user” page…

Anyone know anything about these things?

 Via Jim Wilson:

Hannan Customs is pretty much one-at-a-time expensive custom-fitted radical choppers, but made with very sophisticated technology. He’s probably going to eventually get into moderate production. http://hannanschoppers.blogspot.com/

Brad Graham of http://atomiczombie.com/ mostly concentrates on building one-off prototypes for plansets he sells, and books of plans. He hasn’t ruled out eventually going into production, but not right away.

Gary Silva’s company http://www.3gbikes.com/ has a factory in Taiwan making his choppers and other interesting bike types, such as tandems and hot-rod-style cruisers. See site’s Showroom.

Alan Choppers U.S. http://www.choppersus.com has a production of choppers, parts and accessories.  See the suspension cruiser and one of the most interesting youth bikes out there: Urban Assault Vehicle, soon to go into production.

Nirve Sports http://www.nirve.com/ has a line of cruisers and choppers, designed by Aaron Bethlenfalvy, who’s formerly of Dyno/GT, now with Schwinn. His choppers are excellent and well designed for safety and handling.
