Boat House to left Lightwheels Rentals to the right

The Boat House was built in 1939 and currently houses RowNY, TASCA and storage resources for the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival that is held once a year, generally the first week-end of August.

To date the boat house design and construction program has resulted in a failed bid process in 2008 that came in $2M over the  $5.8 estimated by Parks inhouse design team.  These drawings were approved by Charles McKinney, Chief of Design.  The Chief Enginneer was J.
